Want more peace? Reduce stress? A sense of calm?
Then these 6 sessions might be just right for you.
For one hour a week, we'll sit down and seemingly do nothing. Radical, right? You'll be learning about what mindfulness is, and how to access, use, and live it, every day. We will practice by showing up in our online community space, sitting with what is here and now; with compassion and without judgement.
We're not trying to change anything. Simply just being aware of this life right now. You will learn different meditation techniques and we'll do some gentle movement too. The body is very much a part of the whole, and we'll be curious about how being present in our bodies feels like and how you can regulate your nervous system.
This workshop is trauma sensitive and lead by a qualified therapeutic counsellor (Turid Emberland).
You'll be safely guided, but it's important to point out that these mindfulness sessions are not therapy. Suitable for everyone. No previous experience needed.
